People who consume garlic never experience a loss of hair, teeth, nails, complexion, or strength. Women who consume garlic never experience sagging breasts. Even after consuming excessive amounts of garlic, women remain pure and free from sexually transmitted diseases. Consuming garlic prevents women from developing diseases of the waist, pelvis, or other organs. Women are never infertile.

Consuming garlic also makes men strong, intelligent, long-lived, and blessed with beautiful children. Dislocations, bone fractures, and other bone disorders, all types of rheumatism, menstrual disorders, semen-related disorders, coughs, leprosy (skin disorders), tumors, white spots, itching, eruptions, facial discoloration, eye problems, respiratory problems, night blindness, poor eating habits, chronic fevers, blocked blood vessels, stones, urinary tract infections (UTI), fistulas, leucorrhoea, spleen diseases, tuberculosis (TB), paralysis (difficulty walking), heart disease (due to increased cholesterol), and gout. Garlic should not be used for certain conditions:

Kaphaja and Pitta diseases, advanced age, Agnimandya, pregnant women, newborns, new fever, diarrhea, jaundice, piles, constipation, throat and mouth diseases (mouth ulcers, wounds, etc.), those who have recently vomited, those who have recently had loose motions, those who have taken Shirovirechan, those who are very thirsty, those who have vomiting problems, those who have severe hiccups and respiratory problems, those who have been given Anuvashana or Nirhubasti.

Note: Except for the above mentioned conditions, garlic can be used by anyone whose digestive power and strength are not impaired. Garlic should be used during the winter season (Hamant) and Shishir (winter). Garlic should be used without the peel.

 Take a fully ripe bulb of garlic, peel it well and tear it and remove the sprouts (which are greenish) from it and to reduce the smell of garlic, keep it in buttermilk at night and take it out in the morning and wash it and grind it on a grinding stone to make chutney, then add one fifth part of powder of the following things in it, take black salt, carom seeds, asafoetida roasted in ghee, rock salt, dry ginger, black pepper, long pepper and cumin seeds (these should also be roasted in ghee) in equal parts and mix the powder and garlic chutney together and keep it aside. After that, it should be consumed in the quantity of 10 to 15 grams in the morning on an empty stomach or the quantity can be increased or decreased by considering the digestive power, physical strength, cold-heat and vata-pitta-kapha of the patient. After eating this, one should drink the decoction of castor root, similarly by consuming it daily  It cures Sarvangavata, Ekanagvat (a type of paralysis), Ardhangavat (facial paralysis), hysteria, epilepsy, madness, sciatica, chest, back, waist, rib and stomach pain and worm disease. While taking this medicine, one should not suffer from indigestion, avoid sunlight, anger, excess water, milk and jaggery. Sour substances, green gram, masoor dal etc. and light and easily digestible food can be eaten as per wish.
